In the Healthcare Equipment Division, our activities are based on our basic principle of working to contribute to those who require medical and nursing care, help in daily life, and health aids.
In addition to developing and supplying medical equipment and welfare goods, we also contribute greatly to nursing technology, by contributing to the care of pressure ulcers and palliative care for those whose physical conditions have debilitated and for those persons who desire to improve their physical functions and expand the range of their daily functions.
We strive to further deepen our technical expertise through an understanding gained from a hands-on approach (on-site observation, identifying objects of issue, issue source and reason identification, understanding the phenomenon), academic theories from research conducted through bioengineering, and listening to the opinions of those working at hospitals, various facilities, and those involved in home care.
In so doing, we work to continuously verify new research and development themes.
